Write-up:    NLPOA partners with the Evergreen Community College “Enlace Program” in identifying students to be awarded scholarships.  NLPOA also partnered with the Sgt. Rose Mitre Memorial Scholarship fund.   Jessica Ornelas Chavez received two $1,000 scholarships from NLPOA and the Sgt. Rose Mitre Memorial Scholarship fund.   Jessica is attending CAL State Monterey Bay and specializing in Psychology.
